She outlined 10 trends that will make a big impact in the coming year, explained how and why they matter to and for journalists and then showed practical use cases…often applying the technologies to an audience member during her talk. I joined Google+ about a month ago and I’m still playing with it. I did use it to live blog the NABJ annual board meeting on Aug. 2, and the reaction to it seemed to be pretty good. Amy did a great job of explaining why Google unveiled + even after the failure of Wave and Buzz.
