Joy Sewing spoke on how her story on Beyonce’s surprise trip to Houston went viral. It was shared on Facebook 936 times and on Twitter 96 times. The media blitz was all started by one tweet she said. As a journalist for the Houston Chronicle she notes that her job is to get people reading the Chronicle and using social media helps connect with potential readers.
